How we pick and review products
How Truly Picked chooses the products it reviews, how the research is done, how we make money and what sellers can and can’t do.

The short version
- Every product we review pays us a commission if you buy through our link.
- Reviews are research-based. Unless a review says otherwise, we haven’t used the product ourselves.
- We separate what the seller claims from what we could verify.
- Prices and refund terms are shown with the date we checked them.
- Every review says what we didn’t test.
- Sellers can’t pay for a review, a ranking or a better verdict.
What we review
We review products sold through affiliate programs, mainly on the ClickBank marketplace — programs, courses, guides, supplements and similar products. Every one of them pays us a commission when you buy through our link, and every review says so at the top.
We don’t review a product if the seller’s affiliate rules would require us to hide its price, a recurring charge or other terms of the purchase.
How we research

Read the seller’s rules first
Before we write anything, we read the seller’s affiliate terms and the network’s rules — which claims we may repeat, which images we may use, where the product name may appear — and follow them.

Find out what you actually get
Format, contents, requirements, delivery and support, from the sales page, the product’s own pages and its terms.

Check the price and the fine print
The price with the date and country we checked it, subscriptions and upsells, refund and cancellation terms. We quote policies as written.

Separate claims from evidence
Seller claims are presented as the seller’s claims. Claims we can’t support are left out or marked as unverified.

Write the verdict
“Best for” is always there, and every review lists what we didn’t test.

A person approves it
Every review is checked against these rules and approved by a person before it’s published.
How we decide
There’s no single score and no star rating. A review tells you who the product fits and what we couldn’t confirm, based on the evidence on the page.
How we make money
When you buy through a link on our sites, the seller may pay us a commission. This is our only revenue: no sponsored posts, no paid placement, no display ads.
Every page with an affiliate link says so at the top and next to its buy buttons.
What sellers can and can’t do
They can
- Point out a factual error. We check it and correct the review.
- Tell us the price or terms changed. We re-check and update the review.
- Set rules for their affiliates — a required disclaimer, the exact product name, no logo use. We follow them.
They can’t
- Pay for a review, a ranking or a better verdict.
- Make us hide the price, a recurring charge or other terms of the purchase. If their rules require that, we don’t promote the product.
Updates and corrections
Each review shows when its content last changed and when its facts were last checked. Prices, terms and affiliate rules change, so we check them again before a review goes live and whenever we update it.
If we find an error, we correct the review and update its date. Always confirm the current price and terms on the seller’s page before you buy.
